Tierra del Sol Gallery is proud to present Natur e is Calling to Us\, the debut solo exhibition of Terra Clendening. W ith vivid urgency and tender reverence\, Clendening paints what she calls “a meaning to the word nature.” Her works on paper are alive\, infused wit h an unruly wilderness expertly rendered in chaotic brushstrokes.
\nNature is Calling to Us is abundant with offerings and outcry. Th is is art as praise and protest\, a call to protect what remains. “Nature is calling to us\, really calling\,” Clendening says. “And when you hear h er voice in the wind\, or in the rain\, in the storm—she is calling and yo u hear her. She’s right in front of you.”
\nNature is Calling to Us opens Saturday\, May 17th\, with a reception from 6 to 8 pm. The exhibition is on view through June 28\, 2025.

Electric color fields and striking lines fill Rinsky’s world from edge to edge\, with his vigorous application of media echoing the chaos of creation. All About Me is a circus untethered by the laws of reality\, governed only by the arti st’s profound sense of whimsy.\nAll About Me is braided with elements of f uturism\, fantasy\, and everyday life. One moment\, Rinsky is locked in an intergalactic battle\; the next\, he’s conjuring golden afternoons spent with best friends. His titles read like short stories hinting at a greater saga. Comedy and tragedy meander a tonal tightrope\, but Rinsky’s unbridl ed exuberance dispels the whisper of danger. Darkness exists\, yes\, but i t is always amicably unmasked like a funny monster in a kitsch horror film . All About Me celebrates the artist’s uncanny ability to befriend anyone. \nBazaar Bazaar \, as a yearly tradition\, provides us with a platform to showcase th e range and the depth of our artists and the community that has been built and continues to be built among them over time. Much like vendors at a ma rket\, our artists get to know each other week after week — their backgrou nds\, their ambitions\, their lifestyles\, etc. — and these relationships certainly have an effect on these individuals and their work. Each time we enter their studios\, we learn so much from and about them\, just as they learn from and about each other.
