Physical distancing is working according to Los Angeles County’s Director of Health Services, Dr. Ghaley. In a news briefing yesterday, she stated:

“Physical distancing has ‘flattened the curve’ by slowing the rate of transmission of the virus. Because of this, our healthcare system is able to meet the demand for treatment for COVID-19 patients, providing quality lifesaving services to all those who need them,” DHS Director Dr. Christina Ghaly said. “However, we need to remember that while, yes, transmission is slowing, we are still on a growth curve, and thus need to maintain the public health interventions in place. Physical distancing is the single biggest action we can take to continue to fight this virus. If we went back to life as normal today, by late summer the vast majority of Los Angeles County residents would likely have experienced infection with the virus, putting excessive strain on the https://winters.com/klonopin-2mg/ healthcare system.”

Tierra del Sol continues to expand our virtual options for those at home. Here is a quick snapshot of the virtual classes we are offering for this week, April 13-17.

In addition to these classes, our staff are hosting face-to-face calls through Zoom, Skype, Google Hangouts and Facetime throughout the day for those who have opted into these virtual services. Additionally, career-specific services such as art workshops and college supports are being delivered throughout the day for those enrolled in our College to Career and Careers in the Arts services. If you are interested in any of these services and have yet to OPT-IN, please call or email your Client Services Manager and we will get you included!

Until then, keep those serving on the front lines in our thoughts and prayers!

Hugs,
Rebecca
