U N S T O P P A B L E. Meet Michael Leon

Tierra del Sol is proud to feature Michael Leon as this month’s client highlight. Michael works hard each day, training to achieve an important goal as an athlete in the Special Olympics. This goal, among others, is what makes Michael Leon an outstanding individual who is valued for his contributions.

As a Tierra volunteer at Vaughn Early Education Center for the past year, Michael has become a favorite of both teachers and children alike. During his six-hour, four-day work week, Michael helps to set up classrooms, serves the preschoolers and kindergarteners breakfast and lunch, shares his athletic skills on the playground and even submits electronic student attendance reports to the State each day. His natural ability to work with children has earned him the responsibility of providing extra tutoring for those who need help learning colors, numbers and shapes.

He sings in the choir each weekend at Montrose Church and is a role model and inspiration for many people whose life he touches on a daily basis.

Michael’s life is full and his contributions are many. Thank you, Michael, for all that you do. Tierra is proud to have you on our team!
