New Normal Agency-wide Discussion with Tierra’s CEO

I would like to invite each of you into a dialogue about our future together. Tierra del Sol started in 1971 as a collaborative partnership between families, people served, and the staff. When I joined the agency in 1990, this alliance led us into new frontiers of full inclusion in employment, education, and the arts for those we supported. Now, we face yet another unique journey together. I call this our New Normal 2020-2021. Next week, I will be hosting four zoom meetings to provide an overview of my thoughts for this future, including information regarding the impact of COVID-19 on our community as well as new directives from the State. I will end each meeting with an opportunity to enter into a conversation between families, staff, and the people we serve. I may not have all of the answers but I am willing to field the questions and respond with possible solutions.
