Did you know that Tierra’s Upland Art Center and First Street Gallery are open and thriving in the city of Upland?  First Street Gallery has represented the artists who work out of the progressive studios (Sunland Studio Arts and Upland Art Center) of the Tierra del Sol Foundation since 1989.  These artists demonstrate that creativity and artistic expression are not limited by physical or intellectual challenges.  Artists develop creatively and are recognized as cultural producers, community leaders, art educators, and professional artists.

In addition to a bustling progressive studio and gallery, visitors can also check out Tierra’s BLVD: Pottery & Marketplace.  This hand-made crafts studio is designed to bring artisanal and heritage pieces back into the local community.  Traditional craft materials and processes are used to discover a new means of expression, while blending the distinction between art and craft.
