April is Autism Awareness Month!

Happy Autism Awareness Month. The theme for this April is Autism and Humanity, Every Life Has Value!

While we work together to increase awareness, acceptance, and inclusion for all people with disabilities, we shine a particular spotlight on April 2nd, and celebrate World Autism Awareness Day. 

Throughout April, advocates, organizations, and allies all over the world work to foster understanding of neurodiversity and celebrate autistic individuals. If you want to show your support, here are some great ways you can get involved!

 Educate yourself and those around you about the autism spectrum to combat misconceptions and understand how to interact respectfully.

Advocate for inclusive practices in schools and workplaces, such as sensory-friendly hours or quiet spaces.
