Expert estate planning attorney, Vanessa Terzian, Senior Partner at Lagerlof, LLP,
will present an impactful and interactive program to help you get started on creating and/or updating
your Special Needs Trust for your loved one with a disability.
Join the Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC), and National Task Group for Intellectual Disabilities and Dementia Practices (NTG) for a panel about Down syndrome and Alzheimer’s Disease.
Dr. Brian Chicoine, Dr. Seth Keller, and Amy Kolb-Tucker will discuss the barriers that adults with Down syndrome face in Alzheimer’s diagnosis/treatment, such as lack of access to knowledgeable healthcare providers. They will also provide practical tips and opportunities for families and healthcare providers to navigate and begin to address those barriers.
